PER PETRI STORE is based in Aarhus, Denmark. It presents original art works and high-quality art prints by the Danish artist Per Petri.

Per Petri has always been drawing. He is an architect and a writer as well. As an artist he has received grants/awards from the Danish Arts Foundation, latest Dristighedsprisen 2021, and been represented at Charlottenborg's Spring Exhibition and the like. From 2007, drawings and decorations have been the central focus of his professional work from the studio/workshop/atelier perpetri.

Per Petris basic artistic tools are pencil, colored pencils, crayons and ink on paper.

As time goes by, he has started to draw more and more painterly – more saturated and 'filled', still with colored pencils and crayons as a starting point. 

Per Petri has a thing for drawing in series and in scenes. For example, let's take 'Summer Days in Denmark' which is a series present in PER PETRI STORE. Once conceiving the idea of wanting to depict 'all of us' out in the summer country - there by the coasts and the summer houses and the forest pine - there when we and the summer together are bursting with infinity - then it's like a movie: we can stand and talk and laugh in a large clearing in the forest in big shorts with our old bicycles. But we can also have reached the beach with all our things. Or it can be later, and we can have a gathering on the wooden terraces under a blue evening sky.
Per Petri is searching for an innocence and a lightness in the drawings. But wonder if there is also a bit of sadness, including a quiet celebration of life. Hopefully there is poetry.

As for the art prints: The printing of all art prints is made on demand by a small dedicated printing office. PER PETRI STORE has nothing but high standards for the quality of printing. That means giclée quality (museum quality), carefully selected paper types for each collection, increased amounts of ink on the paper's surface when needed. The combination of quality paper, a meticulous printing process and working with colorful narrative drawings are the driving force in making art prints at PER PETRI STORE.
Each art print is always signed by the artist and most often printed as part of a limited, numbered edition.
